About the Team
The BC Search Dog Association is an organization of very dedicated individuals who train dogs for wilderness search and rescue in BC.
We are an all volunteer, non-profit association dedicated to training and maintaining a network of professional Ground Search and Rescue dog teams throughout BC.
All of the training costs for this significant lifestyle commitment are borne by our volunteers; the purchase/acquisition of the animal, vet bills, food, equipment, vehicle requirements, travel, instruction, etc. This amounts to tens of thousands of dollars for each individual team.
This is a labor of love for our volunteers but a massive financial commitment nonetheless.
We are seeking some financial support for our semi-annual training camps; more specifically, we are looking to fund our instructors attending our camps. These costs include instructor fees, accommodation, and travel/gas expenses. We are looking to raise $5000 dollars.
